Our History

Get to Know us better

Stepping Stones Elementary School originated from the vision of a dedicated young educator who had recently settled in Kitengela. Over the course of 13 years, under the steadfast leadership of our school director, Stepping Stones has evolved into a global educational haven. Rooted in Christian values and aligned with the KCPE curriculum, our institution welcomes students from diverse backgrounds and corners of the world.

We offer a comprehensive educational experience for children ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade. Our campus features state-of-the-art facilities designed to enrich every aspect of a child’s life, from academics and sports to boarding and leisure—all contained within a secure and welcoming environment.

We take immense pride in our exceptional team of educators and staff members who, guided by a balance of firmness and compassion, are committed to fostering a nurturing space for our students' holistic development. Our unyielding passion for education continues to drive our mission forward.

We are made to `Embrace Excellence`

Paving the Way for tomorrow's leaders

At Stepping Stones Elementary School, we are deeply committed to our guiding principle: "Embracing Excellence." This motto serves as the cornerstone of our educational philosophy, permeating every classroom, influencing our teaching methods, and shaping the unique culture of our esteemed institution. Our aim is not merely to offer a standard education but to cultivate the future thought leaders, innovators, and changemakers of society.

Born for `Excellence`

The Stepping Stones Way

By "Embracing Excellence," we hold ourselves and our students to the highest standards in a multitude of dimensions—academic, ethical, social, and emotional. Our robust academic programs are designed to challenge young minds, inspire curiosity, and foster a lifelong love for learning. Coupled with this is our emphasis on character education, where values such as integrity, respect, and empathy are instilled from an early age.
